Tasting Notes

The color of this wine, a soft yellow with a faint green hue, is immediately attractive. Aromatically the complexity produced by the right amount of new oak, sur lies ageing, malolactic and wonderful fruit is apparent. Alluring hints of vanilla, apples and spice in the nose lead to similar flavors as well as coconuts and cloves. This Chardonnay has a rich, silky mouth feel with a refreshing acid balance and a long pleasing finish.

Review of 1999 vintage by Restaurant Wine Guide

A supple, finely flavored Chardonnay, which seems to have a hint of sweetness. The wine is full bodied, tastes of pineapple, baked bread, honey, and roasted nuts. Medium-long finish.
