WINEMAKER COMMENTS
Ripe Semillon and Chardonnay were oak-fermented separately to allow the rich fruit characteristics to be enhanced to the fullest. Careful blending then occurred to ensure the buttery toastiness of the Chardonnay filled out the palate and added length of flavour, without swamping the citrusy overtones of the Semillon. The result is a delightfully fruity easy drinking wine with lingering flavour.
Ideal with soups, salads, white meats pasta or seafood.
