Grape Variety: 100% Chardonnay

Harvest: Hand-harvested in small basket in April 1996.

Vinification:

Grapes received 6 hours of skin contact. 100% of the must was barrel-fermented in new French oak burgundy barrels under temperature controlled conditions. All of the wine is then aged 12 months in French oak barrels followed by 6 months of bottle ageing. Bottled in July 1997.

pH: 3.7

Acidity: 3.10g/l (Sulfuric Acid)

Residual Sugar: 2.6 g/l

Tasting Notes:

A rich velvety texture, exotic fruit character, and beautiful balance. This special and rare Chardonnay can be enjoyed now.
