Temperature controlled fermentation followed by a long maceration, 20 of the wine was aged in small Bordeaux oak barrels followed by 6 months of bottle ageing. Bottled in February 1997. |

Casa Lapostolle is bursting with rich, fresh fruit character. Thanks to soft tannins, smooth texture and superb balance, this delicious and supple wine should be enjoyed right now, but will hold its concentrated ripe fruit flavors for the next 2-3 years. |
