The grapes were hand-picked at the peak of their maturity. They were then destalked, crushed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks, where the maceration took place. |
Maturation: The wine was kept in stainless steel tanks.
Colour: Intense ruby red colour.
Aroma: Distinct varietal aroma, reminiscent of red berry and blackcurrant.
Taste:
| Well balanced front of the palate, sumptuous and fruity with a sweet edge, and a whisper of vanilla and toast. A clean, classic varietal wine with a slightly astringent finish. |
Suggestions:
| Drink within 2-3 years for maximum enjoyment. Serve between 15–16ºC. Delicious with cheese souffle, pizza, a meat fondue, red meats, and the quintessential Chilean snack – the "empanada". |
