Production:

The grapes were hand-picked at the peak of their maturity. They were then destalked, crushed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks, where the maceration took place.

Maturation: The wine was then aged in American oak barrels for a long period.

Colour: Handsome red colour with violet tints.

Aroma:

Fresh alluring aroma spread with berries, blackcurrant, toast and roses, with a nice touch of oak. Harmonious.

Taste:

Full bodied, intense flavours. Toasty, with a sweet helping of vanilla wood and a splashing finish.

Suggestions:

Drink within 5-10 years for maximum enjoyment. Serve between 16-18ºC. To be drunk with game, rabbit, goose. Also exceptional with lamb, and other red meats.

1997 vintage won "Bronze Medals" at The International Wine Challenge, London ‘99 & The IWFS, WINPAC ‘99 Hong Kong.

1995 vintage won both the "Bronze Medal" & "Best Value Wine" at The IWFS, WINPAC Wine Show in Hong Kong 1997.
