The grapes were hand-picked at the peak of their maturity. They were then destalked, crushed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks, where the maceration took place. |
Maturation: The wine was then aged in American oak barrels.
Colour: Intense red colour with violet hues.
Aroma:
| Well-defined varietal nose, bold and inviting with typical Merlot characteristics. A whisper of wood with a core of berries and hints of spices. On the palate it is meaty, well proportioned, complex, full bodied and flavourful with an eloquent finish. |
Suggestions:
| Drink within 2-3 years for maximum enjoyment. Serve between 15-16ºC. Delicious with cheese souffle, pizza, a meat fondue, red meats, and the quintessential Chilean snack – the "empanada". |
