75% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet France

 

Vineyard & Production:

Harvesting is done entirely by hand. After destemming, the grapes are left to ferment for 3 weeks in thermoregulated vats. The wine is then aged for 18 months.

 

Characteristics:

The Clos Des Menuts is both a fine and full bodied wine, rich and delicate, with a long finish. The younger vintages offerleasant, complex aromas of vanilla

and blackcurrant. The passage of time brings out a subtle bouquet,

full of power and finesse.

 

Awards:

The 1996 Clos des Menuts won the Medaille d'Argent Bordeaux 1998.
