Wine Spectator review of the 1996 vintage: 85-89
Robert Parker: "This is one of the most successful wines made by this reliable Cru Bourgeois since the delicious 1982. Usually dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon (about 70%), the 1996 reveals plenty of new oak. Obviously made from ripe fruit, this dense, chewy, minty, cassis-scented and flavored wine is a sleeper of the vintage. Drink it over the next 5-7 years." |
